Aleesha Williams is a paramedic student and an education intern at the Freya Foundation. Through her studies and internship, she has developed a deep interest in how first responders can shape the experience and processing of sexual assault. Learning about the profound impact of initial responses has fueled her dedication to improving education around trauma-informed care. Aleesha is committed to ensuring first responders are equipped with the knowledge and skills to provide compassionate, effective support. She believes that better education leads to better outcomes for those who have experienced sexual assault and is passionate about driving positive change in emergency response to sexual trauma.
