May Sheldon is a registered paramedic and the Manager of the Freya Foundation. Passionate about education, she loves learning about the neurobiology of trauma and its impact on the brain. Through her work, she has witnessed firsthand the devastating effects of sexual trauma and is dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of those who have experienced sexual assault. She believes education is a powerful tool for empowerment, helping individuals navigate the aftermath of assault with knowledge and support. At the Freya Foundation, she advocates for trauma-informed care, bridging the gap between crisis response and recovery to create lasting change for those affected.
