Biography

Michelle has been a Registered Midwife for 10 years. She currently works full time across two roles at Peninsula Health; in the Women's & Children's Education Team as a Clinical Support Midwife, providing direct clinical support to Midwifery students, Graduates and the wider midwifery team. Her other role is within the Healthy Mother's Healthy Babies Program as a Registered Midwife/Outreach worker. This program works in the community providing outreach support to our most vulnerable pregnant women and their families during pregnancy and up to 6 weeks post birth. Michelle also has previously held other roles such as Clinical Midwife Specialist and Associate Midwife Unit Manager. These roles provided her with many invaluable skills and transferable skills which have prepared her well for the complexity of her current dual roles.
