In this special episode of the Nurse & Midwife Support podcast, we speak to Lisa Evans, Director of Nursing at St John of God Berwick Hospital, about the challenges that students and graduates face and tips for thriving in the early years of your career.

Lisa has been a Registered Nurse for 28 years. One of the initial college graduates in Melbourne, Lisa has enjoyed a career across public, private and the corporate sectors. Lisa classifies herself as very much the generalist nurse who has had a wide range of experience in a number of clinical specialties. Most of her career has been spent in management positions and in the last four years she has held the position of Director of Nursing at the St John of God Hospital in Berwick.
